Pests are organisms that not only harm, but are also a nuisance and source of diseases to humans, plants or animals. When they refer to pests, they have in mind such creatures, for instance, insects or rodents, birds and also weeds.

Categories of Pests:

Birds: However, there are some birds that can be described as pests that include pigeons, sparrows, and crows despite the fact that there are many birds that are not a problem but beneficial.

Weeds: They compete with the crops for nutrients and food, and fill gardens as well as cause hay fever.

Other pests: Also, this is a different section that contains and covers many pests such as snails, slugs, moles among others spanning across other biological organisms that might be termed as pests but not those described as vertebrate pests.
